CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties Welcomes New Advocates to Make a Difference in Children's Lives

Lancaster, PA – December 12, 2023

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties proudly announces the swearing-in ceremonies for two dedicated classes in the fall of 2023. The Lebanon class took their oath on November 3, 2023, followed by the Lancaster class on November 13, 2023.

CASA advocates play a crucial role in the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect, providing a voice for them in court and advocating for their best interests. The organization is thrilled to welcome these new classes of advocates who have committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children in our community.

As we celebrate these recent accomplishments, CASA is actively seeking compassionate individuals who are eager to contribute to the well-being of children. The organization is hosting information sessions for prospective volunteers on January 9 and 25, 2024. These sessions will provide insight into the CASA advocate role and how individuals can make a significant difference in the lives of children in need.

"Becoming a CASA advocate is an opportunity to create positive change in a child's life. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, and we are excited to welcome new members to join us in our mission," said D'Arcy Crocker, Program Director of CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and are interested in becoming a CASA advocate, we encourage you to attend one of the upcoming information sessions. To learn more or register for an information session, visit www.casalancleb.org. Training classes will be held once a week in the evening, for five weeks, totaling 30 pre-service training hours. The next Lancaster training class starts on March 20, 2024, and the next Lebanon class begins May 7, 2024.
